Jakarta : C's Steak and Seafood at Grand Hyatt

Ready for new dishes at C's ?

The new appointed Chef de Cuisine at C's Steak and Seafood, Hugo Bertolini, bringing the new exciting menus to the table! Month ago, me and several bloggers friends are invited to savor some of his new dishes. 

Started with Red Tuna and Avocado Tartar  - IDR 180.000,-. I loooveee tartar ! And this one too ! The tuna was fresh, and the lime mayonnaise gives some acidity kick in this dish. 

Octopus Carpaccio - IDR 180.000,-. The octopus was tender, and I love the green and black olive paste.

Seafood Chowder - IDR 170.000,-. I love how light this chowder is, and how fresh the seafood are. 'Flavor of the sea' in your mouth !

Burrata and Dried Tomatoes - IDR 120.000,-. Chef Hugo found that we also have good local produce here, and he wanna continue using that. The burrata was actually locally made ! The taste was pretty good.

For the mains, we tried Fish Papilotte. The fish was so delicate and fragrant at the same time.

Chef Hugo also make some housemade Pastas for us. And this one is my most favorite, Tagliatelle Carbonara e Tartufo Nero. It was a truffle heavennnn !

Beef Capeletti fungi e salvia. This one also was light and fragrant with the sage butter.

Pumpkin Ravioli Aragosta Ragout. 

Spinach Pappardelle Putanezca e Gambero. Doesn't this one screams like 'Christmas' ? The prawn was really nice! Perfectly cooked and quite garlicky. 

To end the meal, Dessert Platter - IDR 280.000,-. This platter consist of Mango Pannacotta, Apple Tart, Assorted Ice Cream, Chocolate Chili Cake and Caramelized Pineapple. All was good, but I enjoyed the ice cream the most.

  1. Oh my! Those look just so appetizing! Jakarta is famous for quite a lot, but howcome I never heard of their amazing looking food before?
