Bali : Quince

Vegan and Gluten Free cafe in Canggu !

When in Bali, I always love to explore more and more of Vegan, Gluten Free Cafe or Restaurants that exactly growing in numbers. There's a lotsss of them, and it's actually interesting for me to savor all those delish dishes without even feeling guilty.
Cooking Vegan or Gluten Free dishes, is quite challenging in my opinion. If you already get used to it, then it would be so easy, but if not, you definitely have to be aware of every ingredients that are not Vegan or Gluten Free.
I've heard of this cafe in Canggu before, and me and my friends decided to drop by. Just like usual cafe in Canggu, it's definitely challenging to park here if you using a car. Bike is more friendly.
I fell in love with this place in an instant. Quince not only a cafe, but they also have Boutique Store where they sell some cool fabrics, pottery and all the other homewares. Super loving the store ! It is well displayed, and they had interesting stuffs since they also had pieces from OZ I notice.
The cafe wasn't big enough though, but it is feel so natural and organic, and well decor. I love the dried chillies on the table, fresh fruits and green plants all over the place. Not forget to mention, they put the cutleries in cool leather pouch too ! The owner was also so warm and welcoming. They consistently checking up on us, and his cheerful-outgoing character definitely lift up our mood.

For the meal, I opted for Gluten Free Duck Salad. This salad is very vibrant and fresh in flavors. Expect a fresh herbs, raw red onion, and a light dressing! With pulled duck meats and rice noodles, this dish definitely had Vietnamese-vibe in it. The star anise in the dressing was quite the star, yet a drizzle of lime juice definitely adding more 'brightness' to it.

My friends opted for a Sandwich and Bacon Zucchini Cake. Sorry I'm not exactly remembered all the names ( and the prices ) since I accidentally deleted all my photos on my phone ! ( usually I took  a picture of the menu for blog-purpose ).
Both of the dishes was good enough though.

The drinks here are also served beautifully with overloaded mints and fruits. I opted a 'Jamu' for my drink :) Jamu is a traditional Indonesian drink that made with spices like turmeric, galangal, etc. It's actually perfect to refresh your body to beat Bali's heats.
Just like I mention before, since I loveeee to exploring new eateries and places, now with Saleduck, the possibilities are also open for you! If you looking for discounted places to eat, or even to get your daily groceries, you can check it here or here. Save some money and get a good deal ! Or, if you wanna looking for some inspirations to eating out at Bali you can check my previous post here !
