Bandung : Food Tasting : Culinary Journey at Hilton Hotel Bandung

Yay! I'm back to Bandung again to taste various cuisine from another part of the world !

Last month I got invited again by Hilton Hotel Bandung to attend the Culinary Journey event that was held on last March. Yep it's my second visit, and I had such a great time.

For the Culinary Journey event, Hilton Bandung invited 3 chefs which is from China, Korea and India to serves special and authentic dishes in Purnawarman Restaurant. Yes since Purnawarman serves buffet, you can also enjoy this authentic dishes on their buffet !  You can read more about this restaurant on my previous visit.

That time me and my #JKTFoodies friends got a chance to try Korean dishes served by Chef Daniel Chong from Conrad Hotel Seoul. Chef Daniel serves various dishes, from appetizer, main course also some Korean desserts and drinks.

Starting the dinner with Yakbap, which is a glutinous rice with some herbal and nut topping in it. It was soft and sticky in texture, yet the taste was bit savory. You can't also miss the Kimbab ! It was nicely done and with generous filling. A kind of kimbab that I like ! :D

You can also enjoy homemade Kimchi or Eggplant for appetizer. Oh, this Kkomakjim is also good ! This is actually a cockles clam with korean spicy seasoning on it.

I also love the Galbi Jjim that Chef Daniel make ! It was sooo tender and juicy, and the flavor was sweet and succulent ! And yep, Japchae, Pajeon, Bulgogi and Samgyetang also served here !

We also got a chance to met Chef Ashok Eapen from Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum, and he made us this two Indian dishes. Both of them was sooooo gooood! Packed with flavor and spices of course ! The chutney that he made was also amazing.
